Some electricity meters can track usage across different rates like peak, off peak, shoulder, dedicated circuit, controlled load and solar. These are called registers.
To find out how many registers are on your meter, simply press the ‘display’ button on the front of your meter.
If there is only one reading displayed after the date and time, then you just have one register. If there is more than one reading displayed, then the number of registers matches the number of readings.
