Households with significant financial difficulties, or who have had their electricity disconnected (or are at risk of disconnection), may be eligible for an EEPS payment.
EEPS is only accessible through financial counsellors who will assess your financial situation before lodging an application. You can only receive an EEPS payment once every two years.

Are you switching to EnergyAustralia?
To continue receiving your South Australian Government energy concessions, you need to:
- Wait to receive your first electricity bill from us. You will need to know your account number and the billing period that the first account covers.
- Call 1800 307 758 to provide those details to the ConcessionsSA Hotline. You can also email the details to concessions@sa.gov.au or use the online update details form.
- ConcessionsSA will check for any concession missed during the transition and, if you were eligible for that period, will arrange for it to be backdated onto your next bill.
