Rate Fix allows you to lock in your electricity and gas rates for 12 months. During the 12-month period, your usage rates, daily supply charges, and solar feed-in tariff (FiT) remain locked in and will not change.
Your bill will look the same as our variable rate plans, however your rates will remain fixed for the 12-month period.
Yes. If you have solar, you can take up Rate Fix and receive a standard feed-in tariff, as well as any applicable premium feed-in tariffs if you are eligible. The standard feed-in tariff will remain fixed for the 12-month period.
Yes. Rate Fix is available for all meter types. If your meter type changes, you will remain on Rate Fix and your rates will be updated to reflect the applicable rates for your new meter type in your local distribution zone.
Yes. GreenPower can be added to your Rate Fix Plan.
Rate Fix has no contract term. It is an ongoing contract that continues until you choose to switch plans or EnergyAustralia notifies you of any changes.
After the 12-month period, your rates and discounts will remain unchanged, unless you choose to switch plans or EnergyAustralia notifies you of any changes.
Your rates are fixed for the 12-month period. This means any rate changes – whether increases or decreases, will not apply during the 12-month period.
