Rate Fix and your energy bill

Electricity and gas bills are made up of usage rates, daily supply charges and demand charges (if applicable). With Rate Fix, these energy charges will not change for 12 months.

After the 12-month period, your rates and discounts will remain unchanged, unless you choose to switch plans or EnergyAustralia notifies you of any changes.

If you’re a solar customer, you’re eligible for the applicable solar feed-in tariff rates. These tariff rates won’t change for 12 months, giving you more certainty around your energy costs. Other fees and charges (including GreenPower) may vary.
