Applications for EnergyAustralia Community Grants are now open
As operator of the Mt Piper Power Station and Pine Dale Mine, EnergyAustralia is proud to be part of the Lithgow region and is committed to supporting the local community.
In 2017, EnergyAustralia will provide funding for local projects in grant rounds in March and September this year. We want to support initiatives which provide benefit to this community.
The first round is now open. We are seeking to support local projects which focus on:
- Education: supporting skill development, training or knowledge acquisition
- Social inclusion: supporting community cohesion or development

Community Reference Group
Established in 2007, the Western Community Reference Group (CRG) was formed to share information and ideas as well as build relations with the local community.
The group meets quarterly at our Mt Piper Power station. Membership of this group includes:
- Environmental groups
- Local residents
- Community groups
