EnergyAustralia has extended its support for local businesses by signing up as a principal partner in the Shop Small Australia 2013 campaign.

The campaign will run throughout November and is about encouraging people to support small businesses in their local community.

Head of Product and Brand Marketing, Simon Brady encouraged Australians to get behind the campaign.

“EnergyAustralia is committed to supporting small business. Whether it’s a family business, a start up or an independent shop, small businesses can play an important part of shaping a neighbourhood’s character and strengthening a local community,” Mr Brady said.

“Our partnership with Shop Small is a unique way to show our support by getting behind a great initiative that actively encourages consumers to support small businesses within their local community.

“By shopping at small businesses, consumers are supporting investment and jobs in their local community.”

EnergyAustralia is one of Australia’s leading electricity and gas retailers, servicing over 2.8 million business and residential customers.
