Community Grants Program

EnergyAustralia Hallett provides community funding for local initiatives that will deliver sustainable benefits to the surrounding communities.

EnergyAustralia has two priority areas for grant funding. These are:

  • Education: Funding aimed at promoting education and knowledge acquisition. This can include programs with a social or environmental focus and organisations which support career or skill development.
  • Social inclusion: Funding aimed at facilitating social inclusion. This is aimed at initiatives that support community cohesion and inclusion for all. It can include such things as men’s sheds, upgrading communal facilities, improving local amenities and supporting vulnerable community members.

EnergyAustralia is proud to announce that in 2019 we will be supporting the following two projects through our Community Grant program:

  • The Hallett Community Hub: Our grant will fund the purchase and installation of a hot water system and a free-standing oven to allow for greater use and community enjoyment in this important local project supported by the Hallett Community and Sports Association.
  • “Navigating Life” Workshops: A joint initiative between Regional Development Australia Yorke and Mid North, Peterborough Youth Action Committee and Uniting Country SA, our grant will fund a diverse series of workshops tailored to support the young people in the region with important life skills.
