Volunterring day - Food bank

We believe there’s more to corporate and social responsibility than a policy. We want to do better for everyone. Not just our customers, but our local communities too. We engage with our communities through volunteering, support programs for the disadvantaged and vulnerable. We’re always open to new ideas on how we can improve the world in which we live and work. At the heart of it all is a commitment to do the right thing.

Engaging with communities where we work and live

Volunteering

  • We encourage all our employees to participate in volunteering to enhance the communities in which we live and enjoy the benefits of team building and stronger relationships
  • All employees get two days paid leave a year to do volunteer activities
  • We partner with Foodbank Victoria, Fareshare, St Kilda Mums, Conservation Volunteers Australia

Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP)

  • FIAP sets out a program of actions to help us support financially vulnerable people to achieve security and independence
  • Whether they’re women, refugees, sufferers of family violence or just someone going through a tough time, we let them know they don’t have to struggle alone to keep their lights on
  • The program includes helping our employees understand why some customers face financial exclusion and how we can better support them
