GreenPower is available to large business customers as a percentage from 30% to 100%, with the option to scale up participation in line with operational needs, sustainability strategy and reporting frameworks.

What is GreenPower?

GreenPower is an Australian Government accredited program that allows businesses to support renewable electricity generation above standard regulatory requirements.

When your organisation purchases GreenPower, the proportion of your business electricity use, from 30% to 100%, is matched with electricity generated from accredited Australian renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar. This creates a link between your electricity use and renewable electricity generation, while maintaining the same reliable electricity supply from the shared grid.

Large business customers can communicate their participation in the GreenPower program through their sustainability, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), and climate reporting.

Organisations choosing 80% GreenPower or more may apply to use the GreenPower logo in marketing and communications materials.
