At EnergyAustralia, we recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners of the land on which we operate and the communities we serve. Our goal is to build working relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities more broadly.

Reconciliation Action Plan

At the center of the reconciliation plan is EnergyAustralia’s determination to strengthen relationships and build positive long-term connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and organisations.  EnergyAustralia has launched its second Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), an Innovate RAP, which outlines how it will implement strategies to do this.

We are currently revising our current RAP and will be launching a renewed INNOVATE RAP later in 2022.  Our work on our reconciliation commitments does not stop during this process.  Reconciliation is for life.  The premise for our RAP is simple: We are better for it; as people, as a company and as a country.
