How to disconnect
When you move with us we can disconnect your old address and reconnect your new one in one go.
Simply book your move online or call our experts in moving house. Tell us where and when you're moving and we'll arrange the gas and/or electricity disconnection for your old home and reconnect you at your new one. It's that easy. We'll need three business days to get this done.
If you're a new customer and you want to disconnect from your old energy retailer, just call them and let them know you're moving out.
How to reconnect
Whether you're a new or current customer, we'll need a few details to get you connected:
- your new address
- the date you want your gas and/or electricity connected
- your contact numbers and a form of ID ie your passport, driver's licence or Medicare number
- your concession details - you can register your concession details for your new house after you're connected.
If you have a connection problem, we want to hear about it. If you haven't been connected when you thought you would be or if you've been disconnected when you thought you shouldn't, call our experts in moving house and we'll get you back on track.
Need an urgent connection?
Normally it takes three business days to get you connected. It can take a bit longer if you're getting a new meter connected.
