We take a proactive approach when it comes to the health and safety of every person that works at or visits our sites. We also take pride in how we secure our assets and deliver environmental programs. In fact Health Safety Security Environment (HSSE)  is considered in all aspects of our work. 

Our commitment to the continuous improvement of our HSSE systems, policies and training programs has seen a year on year improvement in our performance records.

Parenting support

EnergyAustralia’s Keeping you Connected initiative (part of our Diversity and Inclusion program) keeps employees on parental leave connected to EnergyAustralia while on leave, and our working parents connected to their families.

Some of the ways we support primary carers is by: 

  • paying 14 weeks parental leave
  • supporting return to work parents by encouraging them to work for 75% of their agreed hours but remunerating them for 100% of their hours for the first four weeks.

EnergyAustralia’s Social Club brings people together from across the business and offers access to enjoyable activities both inside and outside of work.

The Social Club provides our employees with great ways to develop relationships with their colleagues from across the business.

The club is now connected to the Rewards@Work program. All social club members have access to great discounts on a variety of social activities.

Social club discounts include pre-sale concert, event and theatre tickets, discounted movie tickets, entertainment books, snow trips, cruises, spring racing carnival tickets, movie nights and social drinks and nibbles.
