A direct "1300" telephone line to our Contact Centre has been implemented to ensure improved access for community welfare workers.
Community welfare workers are encouraged to use 1300 309 016 to check information about a customer's account and to organise suitable payment arrangements.
Please have the account number and customer's consent when contacting EnergyAustralia.
Please also note that EnergyAustralia also provides assistance for customers suffering long term hardship.
Ask your Contact Centre representative for a referral to EnergyAssist if the Contact Centre is unable to assist the customer.
We also wish to advise that EnergyAustralia participates in the "Centrepay" payment channel for customers receiving payments from Centrelink. The Contact Centre can register a customer for Centrepay.
