Trimming or removal of vegetation, particularly trees near powerlines, can be extremely dangerous. If you are clearing any vegetation within three metres of EnergyAustralia powerlines you should ensure that the work is carried out by suitably qualified vegetation management workers. These workers should be authorised by EnergyAustralia and in accordance with the WorkCover Code of Practice for the Amenity Tree Industry.
