Customer Service Standards

The NSW Government has established new customer service standards setting out the level of service that EnergyAustralia and other electricity businesses must provide to their customers.

These standards apply from July 1 2006.

If we do not meet these Customer Service Standards, you may be entitled to claim a payment from us. For further information about these standards or to decide if you are eligible to make a claim download the New Customer Service Standards Brochure.

As part of the standards, a metropolitan and a non-metropolitan category has been established. For more details on which category applies to you, download the Location by Category List and Distribution Area Map.
