EnergyAustralia is installing two new underground cables between its Warringah ‘bulk supply point’ in Frenchs Forest and its Brookvale zone substation to meet increasing demand for electricity in Brookvale and surrounding suburbs.
The new cables will be installed underground along a 3.5 kilometre route from Frenchs Forest to Brookvale, mostly under local road surfaces.
Work on the five month project is due to be completed by mid 2009.
