Consultancy
Our consultancy work ranges from power station plant earthing to large, inter-connected industrial installations such as coal preparation plants, coal mines, gravel quarries, various industries and mineral sand extraction plants.

Safearth engineers undertake induction co-ordination investigations, examining the effects of the electrical power system on equipment associated with Telstra, mining companies and water and gas authorities (ie. pipelines, conveyors, railway lines and telecommunication lines). Safearth also performs lightning performance assessments for mining, industrial and other susceptible sites.

Safearth has a long list of satisfied clients ranging from government authorities and power utilities to mining companies and large industrial operations located in Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia.

Training
Safearth Engineered Solutions has developed a range of training courses to raise standards and industry safety awareness of safe and cost-effective earthing system design and testing methods. These courses have been tailored to cater for all levels of personnel from engineers to field staff, and include lectures, discussions, tutorials, field testing and group work.

Safearth Experience
Since 1982 the Safearth Engineered Solutions group has provided expertise to businesses covering management of risk and earthing systems and associated areas (eg. lightning, power coordination, harmonics and risk analysis). The multi-disciplinary group provides specialist technical input to EnergyAustralia as well as to a wide range of other clients.

The Safearth group provides a range of responsibilities and operational roles in earthing related issues, including provision of design analysis, standards, installation management testing and resources (eg computing tools and training). In some instances the relationship involves an auditing/watching brief, and with others a more direct involvement.
