What Apprenticeships are available?

EnergyAustralia manages five different apprenticeship programs:

Powerworker – Linework
Powerworker – Cable Jointing
Electrical Mechanic
Motor Mechanic – Heavy Vehicles
Vehicle Body Builder

The next intake of apprentices will start in January 2007.

In the first year of your apprenticeship, you’ll be attached to a dedicated training centre (in either Sydney or Newcastle) to gain basic skills and knowledge in your chosen trade. After completing your first year’s training, you’ll rotate through various sections of EnergyAustralia to gain a wide breadth of experience.
