Making your bill as painless as possible

At EnergyAustralia we understand that paying bills is never much fun - that's why we make it as quick and easy as possible. Pay the way that suits you from the methods listed below.

Consider applying for automatic payment and take the hassle out of paying your energy bill. Just complete the automatic payment application form, pop it in the post and we do the rest.

How to pay

Direct debit or
automatic payment

Automatically pay on the due date by direct debit from your bank, participating building society or credit union account, or by automatic payment from your credit card (Mastercard, VISA and AMEX). Just complete the
automatic payment application form, pop it in the post and we do the rest. For more information call 13 15 02 (residential) or 13 13 67 (business).

Make budgeting easy by paying for your energy with Regular Payment Option. You pay the same equal instalments each month or fortnight, so you know what's ahead. We can arrange everything with one phone call - just ring 13 15 02 (residential) or 13 13 67 (business).

Pay your bill 24 hours a day over the phone using our automated service. We accept MasterCard or VISA only. Not available for bills more than $2000. Call 1300 653 343.


Australia Post.
By phone or in person

Pay your bill using EFTPOS, cash or a cheque at any Australia Post shop nationwide.

You can also register at POSTBillPay.com.au to receive and pay your EnergyAustralia bill securely on the internet.

Or you can use your savings or cheque account to pay by phone on 13 18 16. Our billpay code is 0267.

Contact your bank, credit union or building society to make a payment from your savings or cheque account. You can also register for BPay online by visiting your bank's website. Our biller code is 3111.

Post your payment slip with a cheque to EnergyAustralia.

Please Note:-
A $2 (including GST) per month administration fee is payable if you do not pay by automatic payment
from a credit card or direct debit from a bank account, building society or credit union account.

Late Payment Fee
A late payment fee may be charged to overdue accounts. If you are concerned that you cannot pay on time, please call EnergyAustralia as soon as possible on 13 15 02.

Energy Concession
You may be entitled to an ACT government energy concession or rebate if you are a Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card, Veteran Affairs Pension Concession Card or Gold Card Holder (Prisoner of War, War Widow or Totally Permanently Incapacitated (TPI Embossed). To apply call us on 13 15 02.
